This model can be opened with the same key as HON® models HF23C and HF23B, if they have the same key code. Key code is assigned randomly unless several matching units are requested. Finish is Chrome. Can be used to update security or to coordinate key codes between multiple components in an office suite. Installs in existing lock cylinder quickly and easily ohm any vertical file. Core is specially shaped for vertical files; for all other HON® files, storage cabinets, pedestals and overhead cabinets select model HF23C (Chrome) or HFC23B (Black). Chrome finish blends with all HON® metal files, desks and overhead cabinets. Allows any HON® cabinet built after January 1997 to be updated for security requirements .
